Q. How long do ice carvings last?
A. Most carvings last longer than five hours indoors and three hours outdoors (out of the sun) After that there is still a big identifiable work of art on display, but much of the original detail is gone.
Q. Are they expensive?
A. No, Ice carvings cost less than an inexpensive wedding cake, and leave a longer lasting impression on your guests.
Q. Are they heavy?
A. Yes, but we lift them on your table for you. The only thing you need to do on your end is make sure your table will support a 150 - 200 lb. carving.
Q. Where does the melted ice go?
A. We set up our carvings in a display stand. All the water drips down through a clear tube into a bucket that we hide under the table.
Q. If I run a hotel, kitchen, or catering business can I qualify for a wholesale price?
A. Yes.
Q. What are the dimensions of most ice carvings?
A. Most ice carvings are about 40 inches tall, 20 inches wide. They sit on a ice tray that is 20” by 24”.
Q. Can you freeze color in you blocks?
A. Yes, we can either freeze all or half of the entire block any basic color, we can also freeze color in lines, check out our ice gallery for examples!
